He talked about putting all of yourself into a project, taking risks and putting yourself in a position that scares you. A state of uncertainty. He even talked about the...

I’m an advocate for change in immigration policy in the U.S. It’s the one time among my perpetual Devil’s Advocacy where I find it difficult to come up with a cohesive argument for the other side. I’ve met many leaders in the immigration reform battle who lean towards citizenship paths. Most of them are young, most are passionate, but frankly a lot are are missing some of...

A few weeks ago I was at a local watering hole having a the special, half-slab rib dinner and a pint of local brew. A few feet over at the end of the bar a tall, striking, blonde woman was asking the bartender questions out of a magazine questionnaire. Things like, “what is your favorite dish?” and “if you could go anywhere, where would it be, and why?” As she flipped...

Should also be noted that the pics can’t be saved with right click, which is also a good thing. Especially since news outlets are starting to troll instagram to license photos.
I’m guessing...
Dying of the White: Requiem for the 2012 Election →
I love this write up by Cord Jefferson for Gawker about the “end of White America”.
“It makes me wonder who my fellow citizens are. I’ve got to be honest, I feel like I’ve lost touch with what the identity of America is right now. I really do.” —Boston Republican voter Marianne Doherty, on her feelings following Obama’s reelection.

Mitt Romney visited Israel in the midst of his 2012 presidential campaign and made a statement at a fundraiser attributing Israel’s prosperity to their superior culture, unlike their neighbors (AP Video). Palestinian leaders have balked at the statement calling it racist.
In the video above The Daily Show has some fun with Mitt Romney’s gaffe.
