Dolores worked for the station longer than I’ve even had time to even think about radio. She retired today. She and I had tons of moments on “the 4th floor” talking about damn near anything. Invariably these moments would happen at the absolute most busy time of my day. I never once regretted taking 2, 5, 15 minutes to talk… ever. In fact, most times I needed it. It was one of those, “tu me entiendes, right?” things. I’m gonna miss Delores, but now she had time to hand with her grand kids. Congratulations Delores. I hope to be so lucky.
