I saw Samantha Irby at a storytelling & poetry event put on by Chicago Slam Works this week and subscribed to her blog bitches gotta eat. Here’s a link to her open letter entitled, “Dear White people, I love you.”

This is a great opinion video on White middle class socially concerned activists wearing shirts saying “I am not Trayvon Martin” intended to show solidarity with victims of racially charged killings.  She says that White middle class socially concerned activists should instead wear shirts saying, “I am George Zimmerman.”
